Vermont Greenhouse Project Spotlight
Created as an extension of the private property's outdoor living space, this greenhouse project in Vermont brings together craftsmanship, sustainability, and everyday functionality. Co-designed by Point of Shift and COBI, the project combines thoughtful design with sustainable building practices. Stone sourced from the property and recycled building materials were used throughout the construction, creating a beautiful greenhouse bathroom that integrates a composting toilet system into the landscape.
As part of the layout, the building includes a bathroom equipped with a Solarid Toilet System. The installation was paired with a compost-based waste management system selected to complement the project's overall approach. While many Solarid toilet installations use traditional waste holding tanks, the system can also support alternative waste management strategies, making it well suited for projects with unique infrastructure and sustainability goals.
The finished space reflects thoughtful planning, where every element serves a purpose. We're proud to have partnered with Point of Shift on a project that brought together local craftsmanship, sustainable design, and practical infrastructure.
